Course Information
In this class we will build upon what we have already learnt during the Bronze and Silver courses and learn further stills to help make our dog as socially acceptable as possible!
We will learn:
- Walk without lead
- Send to bed
- Emergency stopRelaxed Isolation
- Extend duration of stay in and out of sight
- Food Manners
At the end of the course, on week six there will be the opportunity for class members to attempt their Gold Award Test. This is definitely the most challenging level! The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Gold Award aims to produce a dog that will walk without a lead, go to bed, emergency stop, relaxed isolation and have good manners around food. The Gold award aims to provide the handlers with a greater knowledge and understanding of training their canine companion. To achieve your Gold Award is a fantastic achievement!
