Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Award
Aims to produce a dog that will walk and behave in a controlled manner on the lead, will stay in one position on command, will allow its owner to clean, groom and inspect it.

Bespoke Puppy Package Offering private, one to one home visits tailor made to owners individual requirements. This can be undertaken when you are at work or otherwise engaged! Including basic training, sit, down, stand, leave etc. car travel, meeting other dogs and animals, walking on a lead, no jumping up, socialisation and habituation etc. Let me assist with that new puppy so that you can enjoy the experience more fully! Procurement Package – Not sure which breed of puppy to choose, or which puppy from a litter? Decided you’d like to rescue a dog and need assistance on judging temperament and suitability? Puppy Parties I am available to either completely host or talk about the importance of socialisation and habituation at veterinary surgeries, grooming parlours, rescue organisations or other interest groups, please enquire.

Toys and Tinies This is important for all small breeds, but especially so if your small dog is already displaying signs of anxiety around other dogs (lowered stance, tail tucked between the legs, pulling back on the lead on meeting other dogs). Find out more
Trick 4 Treat Classes Trick training to keep your dog entertained and its mind active. Covering give paw, twirling, beg, crawling, roll over, closing the door, walking backwards etc. Class led, so we would welcome suggestions! A four week course of one hour a week with 4-6 dogs in a class costs £45.
Consultations
When would I need this service?
(A) Behaviour Consultation at your home lasting 2 hours £95.
(B) Behaviour Consultation at your home lasting 2 hours with full report for your referring veterinary surgeon £125.
(C) Behaviour Consultation Package comprising of 1st visit 2 hours and follow up visits 2nd and 3rd one hour (one visit each week for three weeks) £195.
Telephone Consultation The consultation lasts one hour and costs £25. You will also be responsible for the cost of the call. Complete an online booking form or email me with your time preferences and I will book you a consultation. This service is unlikely to be able to be used for certain behaviour problems such as canine aggression, but I will advise prior to booking. Payment is via PayPal £25. Find out more

Children
Child Safety Lessons Teaching children how to be safe around puppies and dogs, either individually or in groups. All tutors have enhanced Criminal Record Bureau Disclosure. Prices vary-please enquire Educational Services Talks suitable for children from nursery age and up. Special rates for Brownies, Scouts, Beavers and certain interest groups. Talks cover how to stay safe around dogs, responsibility, legal requirements, caring for a dog etc.. Prices vary-please enquire.

I sell a recommended variety of dog treats, chews, toys and grooming implements during training classes. Those not attending class may make purchases before 6.00pm in Barry and 5pm in Cardiff when puppy class begins.
We stock a range of treats, training aids, toys including activity toys. All at competitive prices with monthly offers available. If you don’t see what you want on display at classes please ask.
